La familia del expresidente peruano, Alan García, rechazó la posibilidad de un funeral con honores. García será velado en la sede del partido Alianza Popular Revolucionaria Americana, donde militó toda su vida.
Se ha decretado duelo nacional en Perú, durante tres días.
García se disparó en la cabeza antes de ser detenido por la policía, por el escándalo de corrupción de la constructora brasileña Odebrecht.
